These are activities I like to “waste” my time and money on. Some people might call these hobbies.
My current USGA handicap index is 18. I guess that makes me a bogey golfer. I didn’t start playing until my late 30’s, and I hope to play into my 70’s.
My grandfather taught me to ski when I was about 5 years old. I’ve been doing it on and off ever since then. Today, I prefer corduroy on a blue cruiser to get to the bottom.
I’ve home brewed longer than I’ve been a dentist. While I can make almost any beer style, I tend to brew what I like to drink: pale ale, IPA, and German lagers.
I’ve hiked a lot of different places over the years with some of the highlights including: Hawaii, Grand Canyon, Smokey Mountains, and Whistler Mountain.
It’s similar to hiking but faster. The path is usually in better condition, too.
